The last thing Maggie ever wanted (and mostly would ever get) would be a hug from that Primeape. As a Mankey, she was terrifying enough but now she was bigger and badder -- despite the change in exterior. After all, for one second she had her back turned to Izega, she was mauled. Of course, the aches in her back had subsided and she hardly felt it, but that was a big lesson in itself. She didn't seem to trust Izega and flinched when Aaron mentioned a hug from the monster. For a moment, her face went a little pale from the thought. "Ahah, I don't think she likes me." She said with a smile. Thank God, she preferred it that way. Change in attitude or not, Izega was fucking trouble.
There was a jealous glare from Gunther as he saw the Primeape received her prize. And what did he get? Nothing! Not even a "good going, Gunther". It was like Maggie completely forgot about him and his stomach. She was probably saving it all for herself, like she usually did. Wrinkling his nose, he looked rather prideful and yet, felt snuffed. Wasn't he magnificent too? Well, he hadn't evolved but really, it was his first battle. Pssh... he didn't need Maggie. The Machop had snuck around while the pair were fawning over Izega and her new looks, sniffing around for Maggie's backpack.
It couldn't be far off as he was pushing through the tall grass with his eyes wide, scanning for her bag. He could practically smell their lunch. His mouth was watering a little.
"That's really interesting. I'd never expect her to be so clingy!" She said, that hint of jealousy once more but she was happy for Aaron. Really, a Primeape overprotective of her trainer? She found it hard to imagine, especially this viscous creature. Maybe he was lucky after all. "I guess you'll save on bandages then." He really deserved it after all the torture she must've put him through.

"I... I guess I will, right?" His face formed into a nervous smile and for the first time in ages he felt like he was really up to the task of field research. So far he had done an horrendous job, barely able to research anything because Izega kept beating him up, but things were looking a lot better now. She no longer hated him, in fact, she seemed to be quite fond of him. He could measure and weigh her, she could keep him save... the smile on his face just kept growing wider as the thoughts ran through his mind.
"I...I guess I should thank you. This... this'd have never happened if I hadn't run into you." Perhaps Maggie wasn't as scary as she looked. Sure, Aaron would never understand why any woman would want to train as much as she did to end up looking muscular and manly, but at least below the surface of that rugged physique was a gentle and kind person. "Thanks. You're.. an interesting character." What a compliment. He had never been good at handing them out, but how exactly did one compliment a female bodybuilder? Women liked being called cute or pretty, but did that count for women who ate bricks for breakfast and lifted logs?
"And..." His voice went softer, so that Gunther wouldn't be able to hear him, mentioning towards the Machop casually. "Just for the record, I think your Pokémorph is stealing your bag's contents."

Finally, something could make this note-obsessed bastard happy. It was like watching an episode of Full House with the way things were working out. The cheesy music could almost chime -- although the pair weren't your typical cast. Maybe she could save herself a beating or two from Izega as well, so long as she kept her grimy hands off her trainer. She laughed quietly, ruffling up her hair -- not that it needed it. Pulling out the elastic in her hair, she rearranged it so it was much snugger, tucking the loose hairs back up into her monstrous ponytail.
Maybe that was true, maybe it wasn't Perhaps if Gunther hadn't pissed the ape off so much, she might never have evolved. Probably, Izega would've evolved eventually. "Gunther helped. I'm sure he somehow... gave her a bit of experience." Her eyebrows furrowed a little, trying her best to give her Machop some credit. It was hard though when he was acting like such a pansy, getting some lucky shots on the Mankey. She wasn't sure how the staged battle helped, but it must've right? "Lucky running into me, I suppose." She said with a smile, growing a bit bashful though still bold as ever with her booming voice.
"Thank yeh. You're pretty curious yourself, eh." They certainly were. Although it wasn't hard running into them since she lived in Saffron City, she never had the pleasure to meet one. They all seemed pretty boring, running in between the buildings of Silph Co.
Her smile quickly turned into a frown as she quickly looked over, trying to find Gunther. "Aww, shit..." She whined, scrambling up to her feet and quickly running after the bastards. Gunther must've heard her coming through the grass as his big feet thumped quickly. You could almost hear his heart racing. Jumping on his back, Maggie was swinging around by his neck before they both collapsed in a heap in the grass. Gunther nearly got his fat fingers into her backpack too. Her legs were wrapped around him as he'd fallen on top of the muscular lass, crushing her beneath his heavy frame.
"Oww, you bastard!" There wasn't much else that could be heard beside some muffling. Gunther and Maggie seemed to act more like brothers than teammates. Fucking muscles heads always fighting over food.

"Are... you alright over there?" Aaron rose an eyebrow at the sight of the two muscle-bound figures rolling around on the ground, rather worried that Maggie was going to get herself hurt. After all, the large Pokémorph was a lot heavier than her, in comparison, 'fragile' body. The last thing he wanted was to see the woman get several broken bones thanks to her clumsy Pokémorph.
"Izega, help her out. But be gentle." Was the Pokémorph actually going to listen to him? The Primeape frowned for a few moments, clearly not all that eager to help out the woman who seemed like some sort of threat to her trainer, but eventually she seemed to decide to do as he told, stomping over and grabbing a tight hold of Gunther's ankles, yanking him away from Maggie and tossing him to the side. Once that problem was solved, she moved to grabbed a, far too tight, hold of Maggie's wrist, yanking her up to her feet and giving her a gentle push in her trainer's direction.
"D...don't push her!" Pushing her obviously wasn't nice, but the fact that Maggie was a moving wall of muscle that'd knock him straight over surely factored in as well. "I... I think maybe I should head out? She's... getting kinda jealous I think..."

Apparently Maggie was a threat when just earlier, Izega would've torn him to pieces if it weren't for her own pain. She could hardly imagine the beast helping her out, clearly listening to her trainer. Maggie cocked her head to the side as Gunther was lifted from her body and finally, the beast of a woman could breath. Fresh air was sucked into her lungs as she panted, relieved of the weighty Gunther. Her Machop lay several feet away in a heap, mad as a wet hen as he stared at Izega. He'll be damned if he wasn't going to get his treats thanks to that monkey. He was sitting there, seething with rage as he felt his stomach still empty.
She stumbled onto her feet, doing her best not to cringe from Izega's strong grip. "Ah, thanks Izega." She said, clearly ignoring the pinched muscles in her wrist and the throbbing pain. Ah, she was a good actress when it came to pain. After all, Izega /seemed/ to be trying to help her. Maggie managed to grab her balance before she could collide with Aaron as her bare feet dug into the dirt. "It's alright! I can't believe she's listening to you, really." She said with a smile, obviously looking on the brighter side of things. Still, her eyes followed the primeape to make sure she wasn't up to something sneaky.
"Hmm, yeah... I should get to training Gunther again... probably feed him too since he's getting a little rambunctious!" She said with a smile. "I suppose we won't keep you from your new girl." Maggie winked with a teasing grin at him as she glanced back to Gunther, laying limp on the ground.
"Now come on, you git." She said, pushing Gunther back up onto his feet and snagging her backpack. Good thing he didn't get a chance to eat her lunch. "I'll see you around, hopefully then!"

Izega gave the woman a nasty glare as she left, moving to Aaron's side again and grabbing a hold of his wrist, starting to drag him along to make certain Maggie would be gone for certain. "Y...yeah, see you around!" was just about all Aaron could manage, clearly not all too comfortable with the way his Pokémorph was transporting him. Once she was certain Maggie was nowhere near them, she dropped Aaron on the ground gently. "That... really wasn't needed. Maggie is a very nice person. Just because she looks scary doesn't mean you can be mean to her. Or drag me away from her, for that matter. But if you're going to be that way, I guess we best leave... Maybe study you some at the laboratory. Promise you won't scratch me?" The Pokémorph shrugged her shoulders ever so slightly, glancing back one more time to make certain the other human wasn't following, before trailing behind Aaron as he headed to Millennium City.
