Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.
Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.
Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?

The hills north-east of the Meadow Fields seem to be a permanent hot-spot for stormy weather. The many rivers in the Thunder Hills carry the seemingly never-ending rain south towards Iridor Lake. Constant gusts of wind and lightning-strikes make it a treacherous area to visit.
Despite the always-pouring rain in the area, the Thunder Hills are covered in dead or dying grass, brown-yellow and crunchy. Skeletal black trees and huge patches of mud, rock, and gravel that can easily slipped on are found everywhere. (Watch your step, because some of the hills are rather steep and especially rocky, and you wouldn't want to fall down. Ouch.)
The closer one gets to the center of the Thunder Hills, the more intense the storms get. As if that wasn't dangerous enough, Pokémorphs with a liking of electricity seem to consider the Thunder Hills somewhat of a sacred place, and they don't take kindly to intrusions.
Points of Interest
Eye of the Storm In the square center of the Thunder Hills is a location Aion has labeled "The Eye of the Storm." The permanent downpour and thunder seems to be at its strongest here, and several sightings of the legendary bird Zapdos have been reported to Faero Research Inc.
