Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.

Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.

Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?

If you wish to spend your experience, simply post a new topic in this board with the things you want to purchase. After your experience has been deducted, the topic will be locked and moved. You do not have to wait for the experience deduction; you can start using the items, levels or Pokémorphs you requested right away. (That is, unless you are buying a Pokémorph you want to roleplay out the capture for.)

Pokémorphs
If you wish to use your experience to capture a Pokémorph, there are two possible paths to take, but first of all you should find the Pokémorph you want in the Pokémorph price chart.

You can either buy the Pokémorph directly, or, if you're not so fussed about which Pokémorph you'll get, you can buy a 'discount' Pokémorph. Basically, you'll save some experience, but you'll get a random Pokémorph decided by the moderator.

Discount prices:
Very Common Pokémorph: 25 EXP
Common Pokémorph: 50EXP
Uncommon Pokémorph: 100 EXP
Rare Pokémorph: 200 EXP
Very Rare Pokémorph: 350 EXP

When buying a Pokémorph, you also have two options. The first is that you just buy the morph and bam, it's yours, that's it. You'll be allowed to come up with how you got the Pokémorph all on your own. But if you'd rather have a battle or scenario played out in which you actually catch the Pokémorph, then please specify that you want to roleplay out the capture. (In your buying thread, either say "no roleplay" or "roleplay" and if choosing roleplay, link to the thread in which the capture will take place.)

Levels
Every new Pokémorph you get starts as a level 5 Pokémorph. If you want to gain more levels, you will have to spend experience to afford it. Depending on what level your Pokémorph currently is, buying new levels will become increasingly expensive.

Level 5-20: 10 EXP per level
Level 21-40: 20 EXP per level
Level 41-60: 30 EXP per level
Level 61-80: 40 EXP per level
Level 81-100: 50 EXP per level

Items
Potions, revives and other items like that do not exist on Faero. We've found that generally speaking, these kinds of items are too fickle and most roleplayers will never actually buy them. Instead we focus purely on evolutionary items.

Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Shiny Stone, Dusk Stone, Dawn Stone, DeepSeaScale, DeepSeaTooth, Dragon Scale, Electirizer, King's Rock, Magmarizer, Metal Coat, Protector, Razor Claw, Razor Fang and Reaper Cloth all cost 150 experience to buy.

A special item known as a 'Link Stone', required to evolve Pokémon that evolve only by non-leveling or non-evolution stone methods, can also be bought for 150 experience.

Move Tutoring
In Faero, there's no such thing as technical machines. We've always found it a bit odd that Pokémon would be able to learn new moves from something that looks like a CD. Here in Faero, it's left a bit more up in the air as to how they gained their new ability.

Perhaps they learned it from watching others do it? They figured it out on their own? You don't even have to explain it, if you don't feel like it.

Move Tutoring can teach your Pokémorph any ability it could have learned in the games by either move tutoring, technical machines or breeding. For example, Hippopotas can learn Curse as a breeding move, Roar from a TM and Headbutt as a tutor move. On Faero, all of these moves can be learned after they have been purchased from the "tutor."

Move tutoring costs 100 experience.
