Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.

Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.

Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?

 About Faero
« Thread Started on Oct 26, 2009, 5:00pm »

----> Map of Faero <----

Faero is a region where civilization has only recently settled. After a horrific event referred to as the Cataclysm, Pokémon have vanished and savage half-breeds known as Pokémorphs dwell on in the wilderness instead. With new technology developed by Aion Technologies, capturing and training these creatures became a possibility and Pokémorph trainers were born.

Faero isn't like other Pokémon RP sites. First of all, it's not even truly a Pokémon RP site; instead of capturing Pokémon, trainers capture Pokémorphs. There will also be no wild Pokémorph encounters, as this is all handled by a system to keep moderation requirements down to a minimum.

There are also no gym leagues. This site focuses on roleplaying with other roleplayers, where as most Pokémon RP sites focus on roleplaying with wild Pokémon and gym leaders, played by moderators. A few gyms and such may pop up as time goes on, but since Pokémorph training is relatively new, it has yet to happen.

If you are looking for a more mature side of Pokémon, with darker themes, or perhaps if you are simply looking for a Pokémon RP site where you don't spend all your posts describing your Bulbasaur tackling wild Pokémon, this might just be the site for you.
