Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.
Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.
Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?
The unnamed jungle of Faero once spanned nearly the entire southern region of Faero, though the Cataclysm shrunk its size and left only a patch of what it once was, located to the south of Iridor Lake. The swamps, gigantic trees, and sprawling, tangling vines make it a natural maze. It rains often beneath the canopy, and the humidity combined with the heat can often be unbearable. Still, many beautiful and strange plants with possible medicinal qualities can be found within the dangerous jungle.
Few scouts have dared to try making it all the way through the Jungle, and fewer still have managed to return from their bold expeditions. Many dangers lurk within the dark depths of the bug-infested swamps and trees. Sinkholes filled with mud, Pokémorphs that blend with the environment and wait for their chance to attack... Yeah, you should probably watch your back, but what else is new?
Points of Interest
Swamplands From the center to the east portion of the Jungle lies the Swamplands. The smell of swamp water is vile, and there are many dangers lurking beneath the muddy water, hidden by swamp grass and other plants that grow thick and wild here. Pokémorphs varying from bug-types to water-types to ground-types to poison-types inhabit this area, swimming around beneath the muck, or hiding in the foliage.
