Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.

Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.

Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?

 Iridor Lake
« Thread Started on Oct 29, 2009, 2:55pm »

At one point in the past, Iridor Lake was little more than a small pond, but the constant flow of water, carried to Iridor by the rivers coming from Thunder Hills, have increased its size to that of a small sea. The water is slightly murky and has a low pH (not enough to be damaging, just irritating to the skin after a long enough period of time soaking in the water), but the area surrounding it is lush and green and, near the south of the lake, tall trees are everywhere. This would be a nice place to relax if not for all of the water-type Pokémorphs that live in the water, and the rest of the Pokémorphs on land that are looking for a drink or a dip.

Despite being completely landlocked, Pokémorphs that should live in the ocean seem to be perfectly at home in the fresh water reservoir. Professors studying Faero have theorized that Pokémorphs might have migrated across the southern borders of the Scorching Steppes to reach it.

Points of Interest

Destroyed Oil Rig
Up until a year ago, this construction provided the oil that was required to power Aion's technological advances in Faero. During the Cataclysm it was mostly demolished by heavy storms and rampaging Pokémorphs. Today, it is little more than wreckage. The area around it has been stained and polluted by oil, and very few Pokémorphs live near the Rig.
