Roughly one year ago a devastating event known as the Cataclysm ravaged the distant region Faero, leaving hundreds dead and many more missing. In the aftermath of the chaos, half-human, half-Pokémon creatures rose from the shadows and attacked what little remained of civilization.
Now the technological marvel Millennium City stands proudly once more, and humans have returned to Faero, hidden safely behind the thick walls that shelter the city from the savage lands outside. The feral Pokémorphs still lurk out there, biding their time.
Will you venture out of the city and into uncharted territories to make a name for yourself as a Pokémorph trainer?

Evolution happens to Pokémorphs at the same conditions as with ordinary Pokémon, but the effects are drastically different. Pokémorphs go through extensive pain from the growth and changes that evolution causes, and for many, it is a traumatic event. While many enjoy the extra power and status that comes with being an evolved Pokémorph, the pain caused by evolution can scar Pokémorphs and alter their personalities drastically.
However, there are some minor differences as to what causes Pokémorphs to evolve.
Level Pokémon that evolve by becoming a certain level will also evolve that way as a Pokémorph. There's no difference here.
Items Pokémon that evolve by using an evolution stone or other such objects will also evolve as that way as a Pokémorph. These evolution items can be bought in the store for experience, or won in events.
Trading Some Pokémon in the games only evolve while trading. For Pokémorphs, it works a bit different. If they must have an item equipped while trading, they will evolve simply from coming in contact with the item. If, however, like a Kadabra, they do not need an item and simply need to be traded, a special item called the 'Link Stone' can be bought from the stores and be used as you would any ordinary evolution item.
Friendship Some Pokémon in the games only evolve when they are happy, but this doesn't work that way for Pokémorphs. If you wish to evolve these Pokémorphs, you have to buy a special item called the 'Link Stone' from the stores and use it as you would any ordinary evolution item.
Feebas The Pokémon Feebas evolves in the games if its beauty statistic is high enough. However, to evolve a Pokémorph Feebas, you have to buy a special item called the 'Link Stone' from the stores use it as you would any ordinary evolution item.
Statistics or Personality Values Some Pokémon can evolve into different directions based on their statistics or their personality value, such as Tyrogue. It's up to the roleplayer to decide what they want their Pokémorph to involve in in such an event, there are no regulations for it.
Area Some Pokémon (such as Magneton, Nosepass, and Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon) evolve by leveling up in a certain area. On Faero, these Pokémon will evolve immediately after a Link Stone is used on them.
